Mjolnir, Beacon of Thunder

"Forged in the heart of a dying star, its power has no equal: As a weapon to destroy, or as a tool to build." Though it has rarely been seen being used as a building tool, Mjolnir's world-breaking caliber destructive capabilities have only been able to be matched by the Hulk in his Worldbreaker form. Utilized mainly by Thor Odinson, this crusher, or grinder (as Mjolnir translates into) is capable of felling the most formidable foes, and (occasionally), knocking the Hulk off his feet. This hammer, made of a rare, unearthly metal known as Uru, can allow its wielder to summon and command thunder, lightning, and various other types of storm and weather; generate fields of energy; and (with its assistance) fly. When Thor throws Mjolnir at an enemy, he rarely misses, because it always comes back to him. As a bonus feature, Odin Allfather, Thor's father, cast and inscribed an enchantment on the hammer that states, "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." This means those who are not deemed worthy by either the enchantment or by Odin won't even be able to budge the hammer, let alone pick it up and wield it. Score one for the home team!
