Product Description
The Scherk minimal surface (see Wikipedia) can be twisted and warped around an axis (an idea of sculptor Brent Collins) to reconnect to itself, forming interesting toroidal surfaces that are near-minimal. The model was generated with the Scherk-Collins Sculpture Generator, at Berkeley.edu. This model has 5 saddle branches and 3 holes per storey. Findings not included.
