TC Ring only Leo1A5

This is a new TC’s MG skate ring to upgrade the turret of the old Italeri/Revell Leopard 1A5 kit.  You get the ring only (with raised forward periscope), and a hole-drilling template.

Shave off the incorrect kit periscope heads around the TC ring (but not the one standing out to front-left!), place the drill template with its lugs in the hatchway and the other lug in the hatch pivot hole, drill the four ends with a 1mm drill, and place the new ring in the holes!  The exterior ring has a sprue across the opening for the hatch pivot that needs to be trimmed off and sanded flat.

Tip – wash everything gently in warm soapy water and rinse before using.  Sometimes parts still have a little oil or wax adhering that needs to be removed before paint will stick properly.
