Product Description
When the British created their first tanks, they immediately started to think about how artillery would be able to follow the tanks as they moved across enemy trenches and barbed wire. They therefore went about and designed a tracked vehicle that could carry artillery and munitions. This vehicle would help push the advance forward with howitzers or larger guns. This led to the development of the Mark I Gun Carrier.
Ultimately, the Carrier was used as a transport due to its great carrying capacity and the need of the Allies to ferry material across a ruiend battlefield, but it served as the basis for all future self-propelled assault guns.
Whenever you crush through your enemies' lines with your steel beasts, make sure your guns can follow through and crush your opponents. Let not the terrain be a hindrance to your victory !
