Product Description
Made for Wacom's Heroes and Villains Contest.

In a far off land lies a robotic civilization called the Vectronin. Feral beasts and biomechanical monstrocities also inhabit this land, attacking Vectronin settlements without warning. To combat this threat, the Vectronin governing body created a division of specialized warriors to defend Vectronin citizens. The Knight Ops Division, as they are called, serve to defend the Vectronin from all known threats.

Fenrix-7 is a Knight Commander, leading his fellow Knights into battle. He is armed with a Boltstrike pulse carbine to keep enemies at bay. The carbine's ammo is fed through energy packs on each side. Each energy pack yields over a hundred shots, allowing him to sustain fire over the enemies of the Vectronin. Wielding a Temenos Shield, he protects himself and those around him.

I had a blast making this guy! I wanted to make a robot since I do non-organic modeling. I took inspiration from knights and samurai when developing the core look of this guy. The chest and weapons went through several iterations before reaching a spot where I felt that it's unique enough yet familiar at the same time.
I've included some renders of the weapons and what-not above for those interested on seeing them in more detail.
