The white-breasted rabbit's hair is rust-brown in the summer and turns white when it is winter. It is a kind of camouflage. Their abdomen is white all year round. They have black fluff on their ears and their ears are shorter than other hares. White-boot rabbits eat plants such as grass, ferns and leaves in summer. In the winter, they will eat branches, bark and buds, and they will steal meat from traps like Arctic rabbits.
