Product Description
This type of tugboat was prevalent on the Oregon coast, doing milk runs up and down the rivers, the occasional 'school bus' run, and hauled lots of log rafts from river to sawmill. These small boats were known as the 'Mosquito Fleet' in the Pacific Northwest, as harbors in their heyday were buzzing with numerous boats dotting the harbors. This one is just at 38 feet long, which is just shy of 5 1/4 inches, and is based on the Koos # 2 which cab be seen on the boardwalk in Coos Bay oregon.
