A TOOL FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MARK DIAL FEET POSITIONS ON A DIAL.
The idea for this little template stencil is to place the dial on the side with the small cylindrical protrusion to center it, with the back facing the stencil. Align the dial using the outer markings on the stencil, turn it over, and mark the dial feet through the stencil.
Key:
- Triangle - Popular Seiko and Hattori (NH) movements, such as 7S26, 7S36, NH35, NH36, 4R36, etc...
- For dials meant for "3.8" crown position such as those meant for SKXs, line up the angled date window and look for the offset 3 o'clock mark in order for the feet to line up correcly.
- Diamond - ETA movements and clones such as 2824-2, 2836, PT5000, ST2130, etc...
- Circle - Miyota 8215, ST1612, DG2813, etc...
- 'V' - Vostok
