Product Description
Important Note:
This chassis is NOT compatible with the AniFlex Elite hilt. We offer a separate chassis for the Elite.
***********
Although oiginally designed for the AniFlex v1, this chassis is compatible with the V2 hilt.
However please note the following differences:
The V2 hilt does not require the thin white spacer to replace the heat sink. This is because the blade holder has been redesigned without a heat sink void.
The v2 blade holder does not have the internal shoulder against which to secure the neopixel connector. As such, you will need to find some way of securing the neo connector in the blade holder. Hot glue will work, but drilling and tapping a hole for a small grub screw is preferable. For those without the facilities to cut threads, please see our model-specifici AniFlex V2 chassis.
*********
A great looking, easy-to-build crystal chamber chassis for the 7 Chambers AniFlex lightsaber hilt.
Note that this chassis is only suitable for building a neopixel saber. In-hilt LED sabers will not work due to lack of space for the heatsink. For Tri-Cree installation, try the non-crystal chamber version of this chassis which can be found here.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1
You will also need the crystal and blade holder spacer for this chassis to work.
The crystal can be found here.
The spacer can be found here.
IMPORTANT NOTE 2
This chassis requires that the 7 Chambers blade plug be shortened by about 3/8 of an inch. If you wish to have the plug illuminated, it is recommended that you use a Shtok or equivalent LED connector on the hilt side as it won't be possible to fit one in the blade plug once it has been shortened.
An optional front panel is also available and comes in two different versions which can be found here and here.
Full fitting instructions can be downloaded in pdf form from here.
For those who have never used Proffieboards before, we offer a complete startup pack, including full instructions, config files and sound fonts customized for this saber. Click here for the instruction manual.
