Carriage 117 is a all third saloon carriage in the Tin Carr series built in 1977 by Boston Lodge & refitted in 1989/90 for use in the new push-pull train. It gained pattern 88 bogies, larger Beclawat windows, gas fired heating and the necessary pipes and cable for push-pull operation and painted green and cream livery the then reverted standard red and cream in the early 2000s and worked on the FR until it was withdrawn from traffic in September 2015 to be Replaced a FR superbarn with the same number it is now at the Apedale Valley Light Railway in North Staffordshire. this model is 1:76/009 scale and fits the Narrow planet pair of FR modern coach bogies with couplings of your choice and can negotiate tight radius curves upto 12 inches.
