Eyelids for TPE or silicone dolls with cartridge eyes.
How can I decide which curvature fits best?
Every doll's eye is different. To ensure the best possible fit, I offer different curvatures.
Adjusting the eye width.
- Designed for cartridge eyes with a 27mm cartridge.
- Only 0.5mm thin.
- Can be painted with makeup or acrylic paint.
- Doll eyelashes or normal eyelash can be glued on.
- Magnetic eyelashes can also be used. (Symply glue on a thin wire)
- In this set are 5 pairs of eyelids with the curvatures 7.5°. (Also aviable with 3 pairs / 0° or 15°.)
How can I decide which curvature fits best?
Every doll's eye is different. To ensure the best possible fit, I offer different curvatures.
- 0° If the upper and lower eyelids have approximately the same curvature.
- 15° If the upper eyelid is more curved than the lower eyelid.
- If you can't decide, take the "tryout" set with 0° , 7.5° and 15°.
Adjusting the eye width.
- To adjust the eyelid to the width of your doll's eyes, remove the eye cartridge from the head.
- Then measure the width of the eye opening with a caliper.
- Now place the caliper on the corner of the eyelid. (see picture)
- Mark the spots with a light-colored marker or scratch it with a pointed object.
- You can then trim the eyelid with nail scissors. (like the red lines in the picture)
- Then sand down the corners.
