Maat is the Goddess of Truth, Justice, Balance, and Order. Maat is represented as a young Woman with an Ostrich feather on her head, who is sometimes depicted with having wings, and in hieroglyphics, is represented as an "Ostrich Feather". It is believed that during The ceremony of the dead (Judgement of Osiris), the heart of the deceased is weighed on a scale balanced by Maat, or her Hieroglyph, the Ostrich Feather.
This guitar pick has a very nicely shaped beveled surface, for high practicality, and contains the depiction of Maat as a young woman with wings, on the top of the guitar pick for a nicely aesthetic looking design.
