All of the 5 convex regular Platonic solids are nested within one another, and within a circumscribing sphire represented by 3 orthogonal rings. The icosahedron vertices intersect the octahedron edges so as to divide their length by the golden ratio phi, 1.618... Inside the edges of the inner icosahedron is inscribed another sphere of 3 rings.
The sequence is: sphere, dodecahedron, cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, sphere.
