Product Description
This is an eighty-three-sided die (d83) made by truncating a sphere with 83 equally-sized landing positions. The design is based on the solution to the Thomson problem and has two-fold rotational symmetry.
For ease of recognition, the dice in this series are by default only available in full color, with base color according to the last digit of the highest number (3 = safety orange). Other colors may be requested.

"Dís of the Vanir": Eighty-three is the twenty-third prime number, which corresponds to vanadium, element 23 on the periodic table. Vanadium derives from Vanadís, which in Norse mythology means "Dís of the Vanir", and is a title associated with the Norse goddess Freyja, who is often associated with beauty and love.
