Volk's Railway semi-open railcar 009

A model of a Volk's Railway standard semi-open in 4mm, designed to run on a KATO 11-103 4w chassis. This will make it a 2ft gauge car rather than 2ft 9" but it doesn't look wrong as you will see from the photograph. There is enough room to fit a custom 12mm gauge mechanism if you wanted to make one. The model is composed of two parts, the body and the roof which can be easily separated.
If ordering in white flexible the kit will have a slight granular feel. I give it a gentle rub over with wet and dry before two coats of Halfords spray filler primer. Then another ub down before two coats of undercoat, then light rub down before top coats.
