Very fast steamer used as a transport, burned while undergoing conversion to a ram
21/5/1863. She had smaller (25ft x 9ft) sidewheels and faster running machinery than most of
her contemporaries. Her boilers and machinery were removed and sent to Columbus Naval
Iron Works for further use.
