O Gauge Bulleid Leader Scratch Aid – Cabs & Ashpan

A commission piece, this scratch aid provides the shape and main details of Bulleid’s experimental ‘Leader’ class steam locomotive.  Originating as a jumbo-ised N Gauge engine, it has been completely rebuilt to be accurate in dimension and detail for 7mm O Gauge – a large model at almost 47cm over buffers.  Importantly, it is only intended as a scratch aid: additional details (eg smokebox dart, reverser levers, reverser mechanism) need to be added.  Also available for this locomotive are bogie sides and body shell (a chassis will have to be created by the builder).
