Traveller Lab Ship

  The 400-ton Type L-class Laboratory Ship is the standard research ship of the Imperium capable of jump-2 and 1-G acceleration. The lab ship is built as a ring structure which is rotated to provide centrifugal gravity simulation. Although the standard grav plates and inertial compensators are installed, they may be turned off and centrifugal force used instead. The central spoke is designed to dock a 40-ton Ship’s Boat used to ferry crew and supplies as well as skim gas giants to refuel.
  This ship is available in Fine Detail Plastic and PA12, and the model is 68mm in length at 1:1000 scale. It has a 3mm diameter hole on the bottom to accommodate a standard 3mm or 1/8" flight peg, which is not included, as well as a 3mm magnet hole in the central spoke to attach to our Ship’s Boat model.
