Levensauer Hochbrücke / Levensau High Bridge

This Model depicts the famous Levensauer Hochbrücke, spanning the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Canal (Kiel-Canal) from 1895 until now. The Levensauer Hochbrücke was a famous Photo location for vessels of the Kaiserliche Marine as well as  the Kriegsmarine - there is a picture of nearly every german warship pre-1945 passing under the bridge.
The model includes the sides leading to the embankment on which the street and a railway ran along a long ramp. Some putty and a little water texture allows You to do a simple Diorama of this impressive piece of late 19th century engineering and to present Your ships in a whole new way.
