Product Description
More than 72,000 U. S. Air Force pilots have trained in Northrop Grumman Corporation's T-38 Talon, the world's first supersonic trainer when it entered service. Nearly 1,200 Talons were produced from 1961-72, and more than 500 are currently operational with the Air Force and NASA.

This 1/144 scale model of a T-38 Talon flown by NASA was designed to give the builder multiple options.  The model includes two sets of landing gear for displaying the model gears down in either the retracted or extended position.  Alternatively, gear doors are provided so the model may be displayed in-flight with gears up.  The model also includes canopy parts allowing the canopies to be displayed either up or down.  Flaps, ailerons and the rudder are all provided as separate parts, and can be assembled in the configuration of the modeler’s choice.   Forward and aft ladders are also included.  A decal sheet with NASA markings is available upon request.
