N Scale Western Maryland Chop Nose GP9 No. 25

This cab is designed to replace the cab and short hood on Atlas' N scale GP9.  This kit accurately represents WM GP9 No 25, which was the first locomotive to recieve the lowered short hood.  It is also the only WM GP to receive a dual windshield, all the rest recieved a single large windshield.  This kit has several advantages over other shells that are available.  It only requires one cut.  Simply remove the cab and cut off the short hood then glue the new cab in its place.  This also allows the shell to brake down into two primary component, the hood and the walkway. This makes painting MUCH easier.  It also allows for the original Atlas handrails to be used.  Holes for all grab irons are printed and can easily be added by the modeler.  The four grabs on the front of the hood are 18" grabs, and the one on the top is a 15" grab.
