V2 Tappet Plate; Retro Arms Spec, Rated for 45 RPS

This tappet plate is unlike anything you have ever seen before. The length of the fin and advance on pickup timing will accomadate 45rps. The spring hook has been moved  rearward yeilding high tappet spring rates while maintaining higher reliability over a cut tappet spring on a standard design plate. You may need to try several differnet tappet plate springs. Begin without cutting any coils.

-The size of this tappet has been fit to Retro Arms V2 shells precisely for minimum play in all directions. It has far less then you will find with any other manufacturer. Consequently this will likely not work in any other gearbox shells.

-This tappet has been test to 46rps with a Seigetek DSG. FPS and Feeding are stable. This test was completed using a setup on 7.4volts with a brushless motor. When the same setup was used on 11.1v the FPS dropped below 200 on semi auto; this is due to the advanced timing. It is possible this effect would not have happened at the same RPS using a brushed motor, but that is unknown. As of right now this is only advised for DSGs at 45rps or slower. Perhaps an SSG setup could excede 45rps with this tappet, however a 45+rps SSG setup is not recomended for reliability concerns on the pickup tooth.
