Festiniog Railway Quarry Workmen's Carriage 'Type 1b'
This model depicts the early Quarry Workmen's Carriages used on the Festiniog Railway. Referred to as 'Type 1b', the open carriages had a structure added around 1873 to provide a roof on top.
Designed to use Ø6.2 or Ø5.5 9mm gauge wheels with a Ø1.5mm axle as a clip fit. The print may need the bearing surface or slot opening out slightly with a file.
Requires roof made from card or plastic sheet to complete.
