There are three basic variations on the 5-13 ring, starting with this Faceted version, which clearly shows 5 levels across 13 columns of facets. The interior and top and bottom are very smooth as to be comfortable to wear. The next two versions get progressively smoother.
The current rendering from Shapeways has smoothed the faceted appearance of the ring, I have rendered an image of the model as I want the ring to appear, and two photos of the first finished ring. If you look at the 3D viewer you will see better what the finished shape of the ring is. The photos attached are of the ring pinted in the Polished Bronze. It looks great, but Shapeways polished it a bit too much removing most of the facets. I have to see how the raw metals would come out looking. Also, have to figure out the shrinkage ratio for items cast from the Shapeways lost-wax process. This seems a lot smaller than it should be.
All proceeds from the sale of any items on my store will go to support my best friend. You can see
Cameron's GoFundMe page here. Hopefully soon we will be working on her original designs and posting those items for sale too.
I can also be contacted to custom model parts or jewelry for you and the proceeds will go to help Cameron.
