Product Description
The Destroyer Escort of the St. Laurent class were the first larger warships that were launched in Canada after the Second World War. Soon the elegant ships got the nickname "Cadillac Destroyer". The second ship of the class, the HMCS Saguenay was put into service in December 1956. In 1965 it was converted to a DDH with a Sea-King anti-submarine helicopter. In 1990 the St. Laurent was put out of service and was sunk as artifical reef near Nova Scotia in 1994.
The model can be built with an open or closed Limbo well.
