Product Description
The same as the Standard NEM version of my 5' 9" wb N-gauge diamond frame bogie, but the NEM coupler is mounted further out, for the shorter NEM coupling.
SELECTED DIMENSIONS:
Centre of pivot hole to rapido-style coupler back plate outer face = 13.2 mm
Centre of pivot hole to the outer front edge of the rapido-style coupler hook = 17.3 mm
The fixed rapido-style coupling hooks on these are quite shallow, front to back, which can make coupling and uncoupling a bit fiddly and may not be great on very tight curves. Solution=Graham Farish NEM fitting couplers mounted in the NEM pocket on these bogies, which will have similar location for the back plate but the front edge of the coupler will be slightly further out (and the coupling will be less tight).
