Product Description
This project was all about testing the capabilities of 3D-printing. A number of spheres connected to each other by ball joints are all printed in one go. When finished the caterpillar is able to wriggle through your hand - a great fidgeting toy. The perforated spheres are designed to save material and building time.
This design was developed at the National University of Singapore and was exhibited at Singapore's Innovfest Unbound 2017 at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
