This model makes shield making easy.
The mylar mounts are spaced apart with the same dimentions as a 3-ring binder. You can use any standard 3-hole puncher to punch 3 holes in a thin mylar sheet. The sheet should be 5-10 mil in thickness. (0.005-0.010") Recommended mylar sheet height is 7"+. Recommended mylar sheet width is 10"+.
The model has two coils on each side to firmly hold stretchy string.
