Overview
This MagCAD mount provides a base for the Quad Lock interface (not provided), allowing you to mount your phone securely and cleanly in front of a compatible Specialized stem. The new Specialized stem faceplate comes with a slot in the centre and a retained nut that provides a secure point to attach the mount.
This design, a custom request from a fellow Shapeways member, positions your Quad Lock case in front of the stem with no overlap. The design remains prototype status until the fit/function has been verified.
Application
Fitting the MagCAD mount is a simple process. Simply bolt through your Specialized stem faceplate into the retained nut and rotate the mount to your preferred orientation.
The M4 retained nut usually comes with your Specialized stem or OEM Specialized Garmin mount. If you're struggling to source one please get in contact and we can advise further.
Bolt the Quad Lock interface (not provided) to the top of the mount with a countersunk screw and locking nut, inserted from the underside of the mount, and rotate to your preffered orientation before tightening.
Please Note: A tether should always be used as additional security for your phone.

- 1x M4 tee nut.
- 1x M5x25mm countersunk screw (exact length tbc)
- 1x M5x0.8 Nyloc locking nut.
