AGE MB4 Medium Tow Tractor (NMC-Wollard)

I am currently having issues with the Shapeways production team.  They feel that it is acceptable to roll back (regress) their standards from the 0.3mm and 0.6mm that we have enjoyed for the past five years and move towards a more restrictive 0.8mm and 1.0 mm standard.  I have a workaround, so if you wish to purchase one of my models, CONTACT ME with a message and we will work it out together.

This tow tractor is common across the world on airfield ramps where aircraft need to be moved.

The kit features three part wheels with tires, rims and hubs as separate components for ease of painting.  The fully detailed axles are cored  and only need a #60-61 drillbit for cleanup before inserting 0.010" rod; otherwise, I have had good sucess using sequing straight pins with no cleanup.  This model further features a modestly detailed Cummins QSB 6 Cylinder turbo diesel engine mated up to a tall Funk transmission.  The cab is further two pieces including the cab and the cab floor with optional boxes for airbrakes provided in place should airbrakse be desired.

To assemble, remove the tree studs where present by using flushcut snips to separate the pieces.  Tree material is minimized by using stubs in easily assessible places around the model.
