Product Description
O scale old time locomotive smokestack set 1. The parts are based on drawings in the book Recent locomotives from 1886.
The set contains:
-1 pc small diamond smokestack 41,6mm long (approx. scale 78")
-1 pc medium diamond smokestack 40,8mm long (approx. scale 77")
-1 pc cap stack 34,4mm long (approx. scale 65-1/2")
NOTE! This set has longer diamond stacks than in set 2
The set is best printed in Shapeways material frosted extreme detail.
Prior to painting the parts should be thoroughly cleaned in denatured alcohol and dishwashing liquid to get rid of the process wax. Use primer coat and then enamel or acrylic paint. They may need some sanding depending on how they where oriented when printed. The smokestacks fit directly to the top of the smokebox. Some sanding may be needed for a perfect fit.
