Product Description
This set of components is intended for use with the N Gauge model of Archibald Sturrock’s GNR ‘Single’ No. 215 – the first British express engine with a pivoting bogie. Combined with the Sturrock Single locomotive and Sturrock Single tender (both separately available) these produce a free-rolling model which in conjunction with our motorised and generic 4 and 6-wheel coaches available can make a complete and fully operational vintage train. This pack also comes with scale figures including a guard for the tender seat.
IMPORTANT FOR CONSTRUCTION: The bogie is handed, with the recessed end intended to be rear-facing. To ensure as much turning clearance as possible the loco buffers should ideally be fitted keeping the scalloped portions of the bufferbeam clear – for example by cutting from the sprue at an angle and gluing in place with this uppermost.
