British Rail 24.5 t coal hopper, HUO

This is a kit to build a pair of N-gauge model British Rail 24.5t hopper wagons. The two bodies and the two chassis are both very slightly different, the lower of each as arranged in the model making a diagram 1/154 and the higher of each the 1/155, but they are hardly different at this scale. In fact I have done the CAD for 3 additional body variants of the 1/155 but may not get around to uploading them. Not for sale, until I have checked that they fit together. The 1/153 is pretty good but these have some improvements to the couplings (see the spare pair) and an arrangement that should clip the hopper into the chassis so there is no need to glue them together.
Fit the couplings and wheels to the chassis before putting the chassis and hopper together. You cand get them apart to service the wheels and couplers by applying gentle pressure between the hopper and chassis at the corners with finger and thumb on one hand, and with the other hand insert a straight scalpel blade gently into the join between in the oouter hopper bottom at the same end. When the notch disengages from the hopper, put the scalpel down and ease the chassis and hopper apart using your fingers.
