The Corvair was already a uniquely sporty offering among American small cars, but for those who wanted even more Grand Touring flavor, a ready aftermarket sprung to life. Among the most complete offerings was the Fitch Sprint, designed by legendary racer John Fitch, and available through select Chevrolet dealers or as an install-it-yourself kit. Designed to complement the sportiest Corvair, the Corsa, with a buffet of available performance, styling, and luxury enhancements, our model—with opening trunk—represents a typical Sprint: featuring Hands alloy wheels, accessory headrests, and the flowing Astro Roof capper to give the Sprint a unique fastback look.
This 1:64-scale kit comes with body, trunk lid, base, interior tub, seat insert, wheels, and tires. Axles (0.8 mm rods) and screws (#2-56) not included, but recommended. Glue recommended for smaller pieces.
