Product Description
Ditch lights are found on modern era diesel engines to improve grade crossing safety. This style of ditch light has a rear angle support.
The design has a hollow core. You drill a hole in the lens area, pass the wires through the design, and under the deck of your engine. This keeps the wiring out of sight.
To assemble your ditch lights first remove the spru. Prime and paint your ditch lights. Place a piece of aluminum foil (shiny side out) in the lens housing. I use surface mount LEDs for lighting my ditch lights, it may be possible to use a small 1.5v bulb. I then use Microsoft Krystal Klear to make a clear lens over the LED. Drill a small hole in the engine decking. Install the ditch light onto your engine decking. Complete the wiring needed, don't forget to use the correct resistor.
