The bolt ring is for climbers and everyon who constantly works with tools.
This ring tool encompasses an elegant diamond shape, yet it holds surprisingly powerful functions. With a 3/8 Allen key cleverly tucked away into a 1/2 in wrench, the bolt ring is compact in size compared to traditional wrench and Allen key. The bolt ring is there for you when you are halfway up your project in the gym only to find a loose hold. The ring is comfortable for long term wear, which allows you to send without any distraction. The ring also elevates your style effortlessly, from gyms to crags.
I have always been frustrated by needing to stop climbing and find a gym staff when I find a loose bolt or hold on the wall. Gym staffs are often occupied with other responsibilities, so I end up either stop working on the problem for the time being or stand around waiting for that one loose hold to be fixed. The last thing you want when you are in the grove and working on a hard problem is to stop that momentum. I have never seemed to be able to climb the route the same after that harsh stop caused by a loose hold. For that reason, I thought what if there is something so small I can take up the wall without noticing and can temporarily fix the loose hold when I am projecting. I also wanted it to be a beautiful and unique piece of jewelry that blends the classic climber aesthetic with the luxuriousness of a ring.
After 7 iterations, I was finally happy with the bolt ring and I hope you would enjoy it as much as I do.
To use:
- Allen Key:
- Pop the cap off using the slots on the sides, flip it over, insert the larger side of the cap into the wrench, and make sure the intersection line on the cap, between the larger section and the smaller section, is aligned with the top side of the wrench (don't insert further)
- To remove: pull the Allen key sideway and the cap should pop right out.
