Product Description
Chassis for the Korbanth Fallen Order V2 hilts.
This chassis design is for the single hilt variant only. This is a permanent wired in battery design, not removable.
This chassis also requires prints of:
-89 Sabers Fallen Order Mk3 LE Crystal Chamber 1
-89 Sabers Fallen Order Mk3 LE Crystal Chamber 2
-89 Sabers Fallen Order Mk3 LE Cover 1
-89 Sabers Fallen Order Mk3 LE Cover 2 (x2)
This chassis is designed for use with:
-Proffie Board
-KR Sabers 24mm Bass speaker
-18650 Lithium Ion Battery
-2.1mm laptop style recharge port
-Two 6 x 6 x 4.3mm tactile switches
-Two Crystals or two of my Generic Kyber Crystal parts, available on shapeways, each with single neopixel
-Two round neo pixels
The recharge port requires gluing in to place once everything is wired up and tested. We recommend a dab of hot glue to secure it.
The neopixels requires gluing into the crystals once everything is wired up and tested, and then the crystal requires gluing into the chassis once everything is wired up and tested.
The 24mm bass speaker sometimes comes with the plastic, around the solder tabs, rather flared. I suggest gently heating up the plastic and smoothing it out as you will have to run the wires for the crystal chamber pixels past the speaker's solder tabs.
The "tip part" of the crystal chamber threads into the main crystal chamber. Threads will be checked before shipping. Once everything is checked and the crystals are glued in place, the main crystal chamber can be glued to the main chassis. Only the smallest dab of glue is required for this area.
This design allows for the board to slide into place once wired up and tested. We recommend this as the final step.
I sell cheaper PLA printed versions of this chassis via my Etsy page, which includes all the printed parts, RCP, crystals, switches, pixels and I ship internationally.
