Bottom Head for ER2t soviet electric train

Trains ЭР2Т continue to operate in Russia (JSC RZHD), Ukraine (PJSC "BONDS"), in Georgia (JSC "Georgian Railways") and Latvian (VAS "Latvian railway"). Some trailer cars ЭР2Т in Latvia, when carrying out PKK/KVR was converted into a tow head; this used a cabin similar in design the cockpit of the new diesel trains ДР1Б (Belarus). The changes also affected some other structural elements.

We know of at least five compositions ЭР2Т (numbers 7096, 7124, 7146, 7227, 7103), decommissioned or disbanded into separate cars for the replacement. Another composition (ЭР2Т-7242) was disbanded at the plant to build some trains and ЭД2Т ЭТ2.
