Product Description
All the Rim Bastion ship designs are old, one or more generations out of date compared to more modern militaries. Yet they are heavily armed and armoured, made to take a pounding even once shields are breached. It’s powerful drives light up like star and can easily be seen from a planet's surface bring daylight to the nightside if used at full power in orbit.
Made to be the center point of a whole task force, armed like a battleship and carrying as many strike craft as some dedicated carriers this is not a ship to be underestimated.
The battle carrier only has one forward catapult which makes it unable to rapidly get all its fighters into the fight but that is little worry, the real reason for its forward catapult is to act as camouflage for its spine mounted mass driver. The mass driver even in this day and age is a terrifying weapon, able to smash through ships and shields with ease... the only problem is hitting as it is a slower than light non guided weapon.
