4pkg - 8X10 Roll Up Door; Closed - w/Leveler - Sur

This is an N-scale (1:160) model of an 8-foot wide by 10-foot tall roll-up style door, the likes of which can be found in garages, warehouses, commercial and industrial buildings, and more!  This model contains FOUR doors, joined by a sprue.

Model is based on prototype dimensions, and features an 8x10 roll up bay door, modeled in the cloosed position, dock cushions and bumpers, and a hydraulically actuated dock leveler in the stowed position (used to span the gap between dock and trailer floor).

This door is designed to be surface-mounted on your model, meaning there is no need to cut a mounting hole into the model, making it the ideal solution for scratchbuilding, or just adding detail to an existing model. This model contains FOUR doors, joined by a sprue. I suggest curring the sprue (carefully) with a saw, then making a precision cut close to the back of the door, and finally, smoothing the remains of the sprue off the door with a file or sandpaper.

Designers Note: This is a finely detailed, miniature scale detail part. It is small, delicate and fragile. It is my reccomendation that this model not be treated as a toy.
