This adapter allows vintage 19mm Thread Mount lenses to Sony FE-Mount cameras. I'm unable to find any official information about this 19mm mount standard, but know that it was used in the 1900s as a size between D-Mount and C-Mount. No other adapters for this mount seem to exist.
However, the lenses that use this mount are capable of producing beautiful, unique images. Mine is a Taylor-Hobson, Bell & Howell 1.5" f/1.9. These lenses are frequently sold on eBay incorrectly labeled as C-Mount or D-Mount lenses, which is how I came across the mount. I was able to adjust my D-Mount to FE-Mount adapter to accomodate this intermediate thread size - hopefully it's useful to someone else as well!
This adapter has been verified to fit perfectly on a Sony A7 camera. While there should be no differences on other FE-Mount cameras, please mount carefully the first time to ensure that all clearances are adequate. This adapter will not fit on E-mount cameras, as the APS-C frame baffles interfere with areas of the mount.
