Product Description
This 1/525 Scale Fire Fighting skid unit is a 300 gallon unit, designed to slip into the back of a pickup, or onto a small flatbed. It is typically used for fire support by wildland fire units, BLM, Forest Service, Logging and construction companies due in large part to its mobility. I have designed numerous details on the unit, but avoided two: the black rubber hoses that connect from the pump unit to the reel and tank, which should be simulated by the builder/buyer with black wire, or monofilament painted black as well. For sizing, know that hte tank itself is about an inch high, 2 inches wide, 2 1/2 long.....with the entire unit being just shy of 4 inches long.
