Product Description
This is a mute cornettino in d. It requires a mouthpiece that can be purchased from a number of early music stores. When you get the part, there may be powder in the bore. Clean this out under a water faucet with a pipe cleaner or small stick. A pair of wire cutters is used to separate the two parts. The stub can be filed off. Use a crazy glue gel (not the liquid) to glue the two parts together. This instrument was designed using transmission line theory to calculate the size and positions of the holes. All proceeds (if any) will be given to the American Recorder Society
