US PARCHE WL - 1250

USS PARCHE (SSN 683), a heavily modified, stretch-hull Sturgeon class US Navy fast attack (hunter/killer) submarine of the Cold War.  She was the most heavily decorated ship in US Naval history, earning 9 Presidential Unit Commendations and 10 Navy Unit Commendations and 13 Navy Expeditionary Medals (typically awarded to combat units that physically land on enemy soil).
