Product Description
At breakfast the other morning the wide-jawed clip I use that holds the bag of cereal closed inside its box fell to bits. Usually this leaves three pieces, which are a bit of a puzzle to put back together first thing in the morning. The two big pieces sort of sit together and rock against one another, opening and closing the jaws, and the other, smaller part shaped like this model, somehow sits in the middle acting like a spring and makes them tend to close. This time the spring was in two pieces; Game Over. I hate throwing stuff away and as this bit is small and a simple enough shape, I fancied making a replacement spring instead. Of course it's hardly economical (in any proper sense of that politically abused and grossly misunderstood word) to have it made specially and flown across the North Sea all on its own in a big cardboard box, so I'll just add it to my next order. The price of a new clip? I have no idea. For sale? Only when I know it works, and then I'll add a picture of the thing it goes in.
UPDATE: OK for sale, it works well enough. Pictures will follow when I get one of those round tuits.
