The sculpture is constructed from 18 congruent segments (in 9 mirror-image pairs). The segments are square beams cut at two different angles, connected by miter joints. The roll angle pattern is (+++---)^3, i.e., three identical pieces are followed by three mirror images, this is repeated three times to create a closed path in space. The roll angles are 90 degrees (with the sign given by the roll angle pattern). The sculpture has order-3 rotational symmetries and three reflection symmetries.
