Product Description
This is a two-pack of a one-piece underframe designed for HO scale 36' Accurail boxcars 1300, 1400, 1700, and 1800 series product ranges. Each underframe includes two needle beams and 12 queen posts and is designed to "plug in" to the floor provided with the Accurail models. Truss rods themselves must be supplied by the modeler using fishing line or wire. This includes underframes for TWO cars.
This underframe is designed for six truss rods and patterned after cars without a steel center sill.
This model may be printed in Smooth Fine Detail Plastic, which provides a smooth finish, or in White Versatile Plastic, which has a noticeably rougher finish but is less expensive.
