These wheels for 3mm:1ft scale are dimensioned to finescale standards for 14.2mm gauge track. Experimental product.
UPDATE 2023-04-23 Offering for sale if anyone wants a go.
They are the right thing for my 3mm:1ft Rectank and Rectank Nuke models if you use finescale track and cannot source the right diameter and gauge wheels. Let me know if you would like any of my 3mm:1ft models uploaded without wheels, or with these wheels included instead of ones for 12mm gauge track.
MATERIALS
They should be OK in any of the fine detail plastics but I have only ever tried the smoothest. Now the grey is available it may be cheaper and just as good, or better because of the more consistent finish. Now the clear ultra is available it might be best of all, but probably costs more.
