Aegis refitted Spruance, 1/2400

<p>At some point the rumors circulated that the US Navy was considering refitting the retired Spruance Destroyers with the aegis system and sell them to Taiwan. However, in the end the Aegis Spruance was not offered, instead, the Kidd-class which was not exported to Iran was sold to Taiwan as the Kee Lung class DDG.</p><p> </p><p>In the end, all retired Spruance DDGs are destroyed as practice targets.</p>
