This design was made to help others add a digital thermomeer to their car without having to spend over $50. Some options for adding a thermometer to your car are upwards of $200. I've made this housing to fit this digital thermometer from Amazon, to provide a clean look to your vehicle. I also recommend buying the extended waterproof temperature probe, and an add a circuit.
The hood design helps prevent sun from shining on your guage and creating a glare so you always have a good & fast reading on the temperature. The last thing you want is to be distratced while driving and spend too much time trying to read something.
